First Trip to the Euroland

I have officially purchased my plane tickets to Berlin! I will be traveling to Germany with 5 (at the moment) other US Study Abroad students to see the Berlin Festival of Lights. We will be staying the 13th-16th of October to see the beginning of what is a two week long festival. If you can't tell from the pictures this looks like it will be amazing. I'm really looking forward to trying to take a couple pictures myself.
I was definitely a little nervous booking my flights. We don't have our class schedule yet and the cheapest and most convenient flight leaves on a Thursday. I actually went through the entire booking process and had even typed in my credit card information when I had a little loss of confidence and backed out. I spent the next couple hours checking trains and buses and hostels to make sure that everything else worked with the flights. After checking over all the stuff I finally nutted up and bought the tickets. I am definitely still a bit nervous about the trip but I think everything's going to work out fine.

One of the reasons why I'm a bit nervous is that the return train from the airport to Swansea has a 5 and a half hour layover in a train station... in the middle of the night. I think there is a fair chance that this might suck, a lot. But on the other hand I'm excited to get the experience of having to spend the night in a train station whether it's a good or a bad one.
