Settling in

Represent'n
After just short of a week I feel like I'm starting to settle in. I've started to understand the bus system, the layout of the town, and how you are supposed to bag your own groceries (that was awkward the first time). Most everything here is just a little bit different, but not in a bad way for the most part. We had our first lecture yesterday where we kind of got an idea of how the two week course would be laid out. Other than nearly constant references to alcohol our professor is very much similar to the ones I've had in the states. The paper at the end of the two weeks doesn't seem like it will be to bad. Probably the best part of writing the paper is the chance to get feedback both before the final paper is due and also before I am expected to write papers for the rest of my regular classes.
Now that we have all adjusted everyone is trying to plan the various places that they want to travel throughout the semester. Some people already know all the details of where they want to go and others have absolutely no idea. I guess I would fall somewhere in the middle, leaning a little more towards no idea. I'm somewhat torn between the two general ways in which to study abroad. Either I can book every weekend with travel around Europe since I am so close and want to see as much as I can, or I can explore more of the local area, staying here some, but still traveling to a couple places. What also complicates the matter is that I don't yet know what my class schedule will be. If I only have classes Monday-Wednesday then I will have a lot more options than if I were to have a more spread out schedule. Right now I'm thinking I will travel some but not necessarily try and go somewhere every single weekend. But yet I don't want to just sit around and miss out on stuff. So I guess I just have no idea, and I think I'm okay with that.

**Know of any must see places is Europe? Let me know in a comment, message, tweet, etc.**
